Mechanic Assistant – No Experience Needed | $25–$28/hr | Lockport, IL

No experience? No problem. If you've got energy and want to learn, we'll teach you the trade. Start at $25–$28/hr in our brand new truck shop in Lockport. You don't need your own tools.

What you'll do

• Help our diesel and trailer mechanics with repairs and PMs
• Do oil and filter changes, check fluids, and top off DEF
• Check tires, lights, and other basic inspection items
• Move parts, stage jobs, and keep the shop clean and organized
• Learn the trade hands-on, alongside experienced mechanics

What you need

• No experience required
• No tools required
• Lots of energy and a real willingness to learn
• Reliable, on time, and safety-minded

What we offer

• $25–$28 per hour
• Up to 2 weeks paid vacation
• Uniforms provided
• Hands-on training in a brand new shop
• Flexible weekday shifts: 7–4, 8–5 or 7–5
• Saturdays 8 AM–12 PM, paid at double time
